The 2010-2011 season is here!  Summer may be winding down but things are about to heat up at the pool!

Mark your calendars
New Swimmers - Try-outs will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7th and Wednesday, Sept. 8th from 5:30-6:30pm at NHS. Returning swimmers do not have to try-out this year. Interested new swimmers should choose one night to try-out. New swimmers will be notified on or before by Sept. 15th by Coach Mark if they made the team and which team level they will practice with 

Returning swimmers - Pre-Registration forms are due by September 3rd. You should sign-up for the team level you swam on last season. 8yr olds who turned 9 should sign up for Bronze team. Adjustments to team assignments will be made during the first two weeks of practice.

Parents Meeting
There is a
MANDATORY meeting 
for Parents & Swimmers on Friday September 17. 
Please plan accordingly.
Deck Policy - please note - parents are welcome to watch practices from the balcony. Due to insurance regulations only coaches, swim team members and board members are allowed on the pool deck. The door to the balcony is located just to the right of the restrooms across from the cafeteria. It should be unlocked during practice. If it is not any custodian 
will unlock it for you.

NSC Board - Open Positions - Please contact Mike Karanian (president@newingtonswimming.com) if you are interested in volunteering. The club can not exist without the help of parents.

Recording Secretary (1person) - keeps the minutes of all Club Meetings.
Corresponding Secretary (1person) -send out notices of meetings, act as publicity chairperson, coordinate telephone and email correspondence for the club.
Ways and Means (3 people together) – arrange for supplementing the club treasury with funds necessary to insure the objectives of the club (ex. run concessions for home meets, team apparel)
